The Founder

Dr. Thomas A. Vance

Licensed psychotherapist. Leadership advisor. PhD-trained counseling psychology scholar. Part-Time Faculty at The New School. Co-editor of Sexual Racism and Social Justice (Oxford University Press). Founder of ClearMinds, The Clarity Company.

Why ClearMinds Exists

People do not need more noise.

ClearMinds was born from a pattern Dr. Vance kept seeing across therapy rooms, classrooms, leadership spaces, and organizational life: people and teams often do not need more noise. They need clearer language, safer truth, better questions, and a more honest relationship with what is actually happening.

The work brings together clinical training, cultural research, leadership development, and lived experience to help people and organizations move with clarity rather than performance.
